Project Cost Estimating
BOQ
The preparation of a correct Bill of Quantities is the key to always having the cost trend of a project under control.

There is nothing worse than overestimating or underestimating the costs of a project.
In the case of an estimate that is too high, the risk of losing your job and the client's trust is very high, but even worse is drawing up an estimate that is too low with consequent economic losses.
It is only after years of experience or adequate training that one learns to calculate all the items of a project specification in the correct way, trying to predict and calculate any unforeseen events and evaluating for each individual item all the costs and charges involved, e.g. manpower, materials, freight, authorizations, etc.
